Americord Announces Major Stem Cell Technology Breakthrough
At the Annual Meeting of the American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology (ASPHO), and abstract written by Americord Executive Medical Director Dr. Robert A. Dracker was presented announcing breakthrough technology for the harvesting of stem cells from the placenta immediately following the birth of a baby.
This technology, soon to be launched by Americord under the product name “CordAdvantage”, will enable us to help parents preserve more stem cells from the placenta of their newborn baby than any other cord blood bank can. We are proud to have sponsored the development of CordAdvantage and give our thanks to Dr. Dracker for directing this important research.
