No Annual Storage Fees: What Happens After 20 Years?

Posted by Martin Smithmyer

Did you hear that? No annual storage fees ! At Americord we strive to make saving your baby’s stem cells as easy and straightforward as possible. One of the ways we do this is by offering all-inclusive fees. Whether you are saving stem cells just from cord blood, from cord blood and cord tissue, from cord blood and placenta tissue, or from all three sources, you can choose an option that includes the cost of the first 20 years of storage in our state-of-the-art CLIA Certified, AABB accredited laboratory. But, what happens after the first 20 years? Americord expects that storage costs will actually go down in coming years as a result of two things. First, technology tends to become less expensive over time. Second, as more people are saving stem cells this will also help bring the cost down.

Cost for Storage After The First 20 Years

  • Cord Blood: $2999 for an additional 20 years
  • Cord Blood + Cord Tissue: $4998 for an additional 20 years
  • Cord Blood + Cord Tissue + Placenta Tissue: $6998 for an additional 20 years
