How it Works

Stem cell banking should be uncomplicated, personal, and always put families first. We’ll guide you through our different services, packages, and plans now so you have options later. (You will not be charged for storage and processing until after your baby is born.)

Once you have enrolled, we will immediately ship your 4-in-1 (cord blood, cord tissue, placental tissue, and exosomes) medical collection kit to you. If you are anticipating or expecting an early delivery, we offer AmericordRush™ shipping and handling.

After your baby is born and the umbilical cord is clamped, your medical team will collect the cord blood, cord tissue, placental tissue, and exosomes you are preserving and place them in individualized sterile containers.

A medical courier will personally pick up your collection kit from wherever you are. The kit will be carefully handled by our insured shipping partner and safely delivered to our lab.

Processing your baby’s stem cells and perinatal tissues is the most important step of the preservation process. How they are handled and prepared for storage directly affects the usability for future treatments. Our team performs manual processing. This means our processing has more rigorous quality control and quality assurance procedures, compared to automated processing systems.
