Chris Gencarelli
Chris Gencarelli is the Laboratory Operations Manager at Americord, where he oversees daily lab functions and ensures that all biological samples are processed to the highest regulatory and quality standards. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Biotechnology.
In his leadership role, Chris supervises lab operations, manages critical inventory, and develops new procedural workflows to keep the laboratory at the forefront of industry standards. He is deeply committed to compliance and quality assurance, regularly performing site assessments and internal audits, leading operational training, and ensuring the safe shipping and handling of biological specimens according to strict IATA regulations.
Beyond his operational oversight, Chris brings extensive hands-on scientific experience in GMP/GLP environments, particularly in handling clinical trial samples. His technical expertise spans process optimization and the development of new products and formulations, with a heavy focus on molecular biology and cell culture.
